On the first day of trying to find a topic, i figured that i should do something that i am interested in and maybe something that could help me. So i decided to do the project of the Psychology of Bowling. So far i have found a couple of article. The best one so far is from
Jay Granat, who found out that "Some bowlers are target oriented. Others are more technique oriented. Some enjoy the pressure and the crowds. Others like to feel alone, centered and focused on the lanes." I always like to feel like everyone is watching me because the pressure that i put on myself makes me do my best.
Ok...I'm not sure exactly where this is going to take you but bowling is surely a "mental" game at times. You might need to broaden the topic to general areas of sport psychology. Maybe you will become the resident expert and be the first to write a book on the Psychology of Bowling. You could also look at the demographics of bowlers in the U.S., cultural differences in the sport (participation, etc.), spin-offs from bowling, the history of bowling and how it spread, etc.
